Our Story

October 2014, Family meal for a popular Korean restaurant needed to be made, and our heroes Daryl Santos and Manny Ruiz decided that it should be Dinuguan (look it up). That meal ended up being epic (at least in their minds) and lead to the realization that they made magical food together. A silly nickname, funny logo and many other family meals later and the idea for Chinaloa Express was born. Fast forward to early 2018, Daryl and Manny working together again in another “Korean” restaurant preparing to cut the shackles and become entrepreneurs.
